I planted my tulips too late this year and have just a few peeking their heads up through the ground… oh well… I will just have to go to the botanical gardens again to see them. Unfortunately, this year the eagles moved their nesting area right over where most of the tulips are planted and it is closed until the three fledglings fly off.

Only two of my tulips came up! The leaves came up but not the blooms. I’m trying to figure out why they did that. Maybe I need to fertilize them. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know.

think it might be time to replace the tulips. we dig ours up and put in new bulbs when that happens (but wait until fall to plant the new bulbs) . have to do some of that here. we dig them up while the leaves are showing so we don’t confuse them later with other blooming bulbs.
