Oh My God, these are BEAUTIFUL, Colleen. I’ve never seen the Blie one before…..If and when I see Butterfly’s here they are almost always Monarchs….It’s jusr a joy to see these pictures, my dear.

I was thinking a garden party at cocktail time! The coneflowers make me think of butterfly bar stools.

GORGEOUS! They sure love those coneflowers! I have a butterfly bush at my house, and because I don’t live in the mountains, I’m lucky if I see one queen butterfly light the blooms in August…you are so lucky!

I have a butterfly bush near the coneflowers and the coneflowers win out by far.

Your pictures are so beautiful, Colleen. I envy you—for some reason, we don’t have many butterflies this year. The lack of rain perhaps? I miss them.
By the way, I just saw your son Josh on the noon news (WLOS—you could probably watch it on their website). He looked great and was very articulate. He was commenting on a building in the River Arts district.

Wow! Thanks for letting me know, Beth and good to hear from you. Josh is quite the spokesperson whose love for what he does comes through.
I found it: http://www.wlos.com/ It’s the video posted.
PS my rabble of butterflies prefer those coneflowers over the butterfly bush!
