Getting to Know You
My new grandson Liam is a heart throb to his brother’s dreamboat. He likes to be swung in his baby seat with a blanket thrown over the top, giving him some womb-like comfort, I suspect. He’s got a good set of lungs and a knock out smile and will drink mama’s milk from a bottle without too much protest.
Last Wednesday I arrived for my first babysitting gig since he was born and since returning from an 18 day stay in Massachusetts where I was helping my mother who is recovering from a stroke. “Nana went on plane, far away. I missed you,” I told two year old Bryce.
Bryce told me about seeing Santa and then took me over to Liam who was in his mother’s lap. “I have a little boy,” he said, showing off his little brother, as if I might have forgotten.

Awww…Liam is such a handsome little fellow! He seems so alert and aware. I love how Bryce said that he had “a little boy.” 🙂 I know he’s a great big brother!

What sweet little boys! My best friend’s grandson is a “Liam” too! Glad Bryce is already interested in books!
