Gaelic Storm
We didn’t wear the right shoes. We were dressed in too many clothes for what would ensue. By the end of the first set, we had escaped from our seats and were dancing in the aisle. By the beginning of the second set, we had kicked off our shoes and were dancing up by the stage. I still have the ink on my hand from being stamped at the door (at least I did when I wrote this). I can’t tell what it’s an image of, but it’s definitely Irish green, and so I’m thinking it’s a smudged shamrock, a fitting symbol for a foot stomping band named “Gaelic Storm.” ~ This is the continuation from Wednesday’s post.

Colleen, when i tried to get into the new site, my computer sort of locked up. Could that be from all the traffic to it?
I laughed at your comment at Michele’s about Nicky Hilton!

Yeah, 4 comment all within 5 minutes! I don’t think that’s ever happened before. Those Micheleians are an enthusiastic bunch!

These Irish (I include myself in this) can really work up a frenzy.
It’s the red hair thing I guess.

Colleen
Was the band perhaps Gaelic Storm, not Celtic Storm?

I wish I was kickin’ it up with you. It sounds like you had an awesome time. I love Celtic music. I love the way it makes me feel.
I love reading your posts. You have a wonderful way with words. You pull me in. You make me feel like I’m there with you…which is where I want to be a lot of times.
Your profile picture reminds me of someone. I don’t know who or how or why, but you’re so familiar. I feel like I know you.
I think it’s hilarious you thought I needed to unpack my bag-o-snickers candy bars. That cracks me up…and it also makes me hungry! Snickers is our Fox Terrier. She makes us all better! :p
Thanks for visiting :p

Bonbon is right! It was Gaelic Storm! I not only corrected it but added a link to their webpage. Sorry for any confusion.

That sounds like so much fun! I honestly can’t remember the last time I went dancing, and that’s something my younger self could never have imagined saying.
