Wow…Fall has Fell where you are for sure Colleen. Really pretty scenery. The full onslaught of fall foliage hasn’t hit the Ozarks yet but it is getting close.

I love the autumn leaves. I don’t like the raking part, though! Fortunately we don’t have much at our home here.

My kind of parade! Enjoy it while it lasts.

Mmmm, purdy. I’ll have to get myself out kicking up some leaves over lunch.

We’re at our peek right now. IT’S BEAUTIFUL.
So are the evergreens that surround my yard. A bumper crop of pine cones too like you wouldn’t believe. One of my evergreens (a smallish variety) has even sprouted red berries. I never saw that before.

I was shocked at all the color going on when I got home Sunday. Our drive looks like an orange, yellow wonderland.

You are so behind us in colour and the season ingeneral. I’m envious! It must be like you’re in a stae of suspended animation! Most of ours have blown off and it’s starting to look like dull old, dark November! It is so dark when we wake up and I can’t wait till this weekend when we turn our clocks back and it will be a bit lighter! Of course, the flip side of that is the darker it will be earlier at night! Boo! And if your were up here, it would definitely be “raining on your parade”!

Colleen: I’ve just finished your book. It felt like I was reading directly from your heart, as indeed I was. Your talent with words has produced a tribute to your brothers that will help to ease the pain of loss for all who loved them. I feel honored to have read it. Hugs, Ginnie

Lovely photos, Colleen.

Thank you, Ginnie. I love it when someone who was touched by the book reaches back and touches me!
So now you know EVERYTHING about me.

I totally love your pictures. Leaves are falling like rain here too.

I think the leaves were exceptionally pretty this year. I made a mission out of seeing as many as possible before they fell. My boys and I decided that it looked like the trees were having a big end of season party before Winter.

Beautiful pictures!! I love fall leaves!

We still have too much green. I had to go up to Williamsburg to find better color. Part of the problem could be all the evergreen, even though they are shedding those brown pine needles as fast or faster than the leaves are falling.

Looks like the foliage got even more gorgeous since I was there a couple weeks ago. Great photos!
