This and That
SOME DAYS FEEL LIKE THAT.
OTHERS FEEL LIKE THIS.
Photos: 1. Clean up after a game at my house with Mara yesterday. 2. Rosemary was counting out the letters that go with the Cafe Del Sol game last week. They often get dropped on the floor when kids play with them. For more Scrabble photos and adventures, go HERE.
What’s your day like?

Yesterday was really nice. I tried something new and went to the local photographer’s club meeting. They meet once a month. This morning I popped out of bed extra early and made Martin breakfast so I hope it will be a good day…..headed to Mount Airy today for a big workout and lunch with my girl friends. And seeing them makes it a good day all in itself!
Hope yours has fun to go along with these sunbeams! (Though it really is January weather here now!)

I would like everyday having “all my ducks in a row” Colleen, with my “Todolist” finished and in order. BUT reality serves me right.
I believe our Maker in his wisdom and forknowledge made us to learn from “THIS AND THAT” so as to shape our individual character and uniqueness!

Touche! Stu_art. Did you notice the second board practically spells your name?
Nancy, Thanks for asking about my sister Kathy. She JUST got back on line yesterday after a long computer problem related to her server. She also has been dealing with some health issues, and so she made the best of the blog vacation. I don’t even know if she plans to start blogging again, but we sure do appreciate having her back on the love link http://looseleafnotes.com/notes/2005/06/the_love_link.html our family group email. Maybe she’ll visit and elaborate here.

Leave it up to you to see that on the board. . .always looking for a word to play aren’t we Colleen?

The Scrabble board made me think of a fun book I read a while back… “Solos” by Kitty Burns Florey. Sweet but not cloyingly so. Scrabble isn’t a huge part of the plot, but words are very much so.
I’m feeling like the second Scrabble board, except all the letters are turned letter side down and I have no idea if I’ve got lots of “q”s and no “u”s. Got a job offer today that looks good, though very scary (I’d be an independent contractor with all the 1099 craziness), and I’m still in the running for a really cool job where I’d be a traditional salaried employee at a tech company. Going to have to push company 2 to make a decision so I can let company 1 know if I am going to accept their offer. Next two days are going to be nail-bitters.

Just a quiet day here. All the excitement was yesterday with the dinner party. Today I am simply taking it easy and taking in the leftovers. 🙂

Wonderful visual image of our feelings and state of mind at any given time! Wish for the second, but accept the first most days.

Can I use the Nana Picture on my entry today? It’s about her fabulous Sunday dinners. Shoot me a lovelink if it’s ok to borrow it.
Luv ya

ARE you sure you want to know what my day’s been like?
It’s better NOW….but I’ve had very frustrating computer problems for TWO days! Grrrr! Hence, my absence visiting blogs.
Just a FYI……I upgraded my Internet 6.0 to the 7.0. MAJOR mistake! That’s what caused ALL the problems, but I’m back to the 6.0 and all is well.
There….aren’t ya glad you asked about my day?
