Keeping Track
1. At the crossroads
2. Living lightly on the earth
3. Now you see it
4. Now you don’t
Post note: On my walk to the mailbox on Thursday, I documented the much anticipated inch of snow we got, which was gone by the next day. The face pot in the tree is one made by Josh, my Asheville potter son. It likes to have the last laugh.

Hey, this is like a photoblog. 🙂 I like the face! I have been wanting to buy some of those eyes and ears and mouths that you stick into trees, cause they are unexpected and funny but I don’t want to stick the tree! So I’m stuck.

Long time no see! How are you, m’dear?
Hard to believe, but this is just about the entire amount of snow we’ve had so far in Boston. Honestly, we haven’t even hit 2″ yet for the whole winter. It’s freaky. Everyone is sort of in a daze trying to get a grip on this whole no snow thing. It’s NEVER been like this before. It’s cold now, really bone-chilling cold, but the ground remains green. So odd.
Her via Michele, but I’m glad I came by anyhow. And I LOVE the face in the tree. It is so excellent!

I like the photo blog and the writing blog all in one blog. I can’t blow dry my hair and juggle a brush to style it at the same time and I can’t manage two blogs.

Love the snow. You received more than we did, we received … none. Such a disappointment.

Love the smiling pot! We got just about the same amount of snow, and it was gone in 5 hours.

Our snow was no where near that much. In fact just flakes for a little while, then rain. Now it is cold and I understand it is to become even colder into the day tomorrow and Monday. Time for the long undies.

Bird tracks in snow makes the snow that much more cheerful. 🙂

I love “At the Crossroads”. I have a veritable jungle of old bushes and broken trees out back of my house. Usually it’s an eyesore but last week it was lightly frosted with snow and looked just as if someone had covered my “jungle” with lace.

I love #2…it could also be called..”Making a small impression!”
We have a lot of snow here now and it is so windy and frigid! -24 Celsius!

When it snows here, it is not nearly as charming. THanks for sharing.

Love the face pot… how cute is that!
Lucky you to have the snow come and go so quickly. If you would like more.. it just so happens I have a few feet of it in my back yard. 🙂
