Four the Fun of It
1. Petal pusher
2. Beach bums
3. Rock on
4. Four eyes
Photos: 1. A bee’s nose in a New England beach rose. 2. In New England butts are called bums. 3. It was a good day for building sand castles and playing in the sand yesterday on Nantasket Beach. 4. You’ve heard of putting cucumbers on your eyes? These are clam shells. One of the beach bums (my nieces) snapped this photo.

ahhhh, the beach!
I went up to Salisbury for dinner last night and to view the full moon…altho it was mostly hiding behind some wicked clouds!

What a fun post! “bums” is a much nicer name for the caboose than some of the things they use around here! I miss the beach…where’s that number to me travel agent?

Sounds like a great time on the beach. I’m an inland person, so I haven’t spent much time on an ocean beach. In fact, I’m as white as a ghost.
I could only imagine the tan lines you might get around your eyes if you left the shells on too long!
By the way, I’m tagging you. Check out my blog to learn more!

Why o why couldn’t Oklahoma be near the sea?? 🙂
Oh, because then it would be called Florida or Maine or California or something.
It looks like you’re having a wonderful time!!
(Hello, Michele sent me!)

They’ve always been “bums” in New Zealand. Though “butt” is creeping in more and more now, from American TV shows I guess.
Thanks for visiting my blog. I’m not too sure what a p-quinol is either, other than it is a particular sort of chemical structure. Just a miscellaneous laboratory compound that I don’t know the use of 🙂

Ah, that east coast beach sand. I only had mucky Great Lake sand, though, which has only very small shells, and a fair amount of clay.

Lovely pictures! I Love the one of you with the clam shells—on quick glance they look like a pair of sun glasses! It sure is pretty up there in Nantucket….!
