Raising the Roof
The following are construction site outtakes from the kiln shed roof raising that my husband Joe (on the roof) and I took part in at my Asheville potter son Josh’s place this past weekend.
1. The powder room
2. Hood ornament
3. Bucket seats
4. Knight on shiny tractor
5. The end of civilization as we knew it
6. Who do you trust?
7. Few walk on water. Others (like my son Josh) do this.
Post note: You can view the Youtube movie clips HERE.

Love the pictures! I particularly like the fellow on the beams and the caption with it. Looks like a lot of hard, hot work!

I began reading this blog and soon found myself plunging into post after post in backward succession. What an amazing and wonderful project Josh has created in the Community Building Bricks. I imagine he must make more than free bricks to support himself. You must be very proud in having a son who writes so thoughtfully and creates so generously.

Very exciting to be a part of this creation, Colleen…Hard work, for sure, but it looks like fun, too!

Well in the small, small world we live in a tee shirt happened to find it’s way to the Closet and I found it today. This one says “Trust me I’m a Lawyer.” How ironic. Unfortunately it was a small T and I will not be the one getting to wear it. Not without people staring at me because my tee shirt is squishing into my flesh! But I bought it anyway thinking Amy would look very cute in it.

Deana, how about we design a T-shirt that says: Trust me I’m a blogger!
Scroll down 2 posts and see who else is wearing the shirt.

Hello,
Josh sent me a pair of vases and I decided to google his name and see what was written about him. I’m glad I did. This is a great site. I hope to meet you someday soon. I’m Anna’s mom. Bill and (Lilly the dog) enjoyed their visit and your hospitality in Virgina.
