The Mug Shots
1. The type that doesn’t wear seatbelts
2. Presumed innocent
3. Litter bug (aka shutter bug)
4. Justice
5. There’s one in every crowd
Post notes: Photos — 1. Typewriter donated to the Hotel Floyd‘s Writer’s Room being transported. 2. Mug made by the Asheville Potter son. 3. Colleen putting eight month’s worth of pictures in her photo album. 4. Clay at Josh’s ClaySpace studio. 5. On of the many Christmas tree farms somewhere in Floyd. Also, because we’re experimenting and the manual moderating comment feature is currently not on, comments are taking a little longer to post. I guess it’s taking Hal some time to make sure they’re not spam. Sorry for any inconvenience or confusion.

Another great post……..but I like the video of us messing with our hair. I had a laugh and half with that one.

It’s a cult favorite of mine too that I’m sure will resurface from time to time.

Just make sure Hal stays on your side, dear.
I don’t know, I think that mug is a little too calm. It’s hiding something dark and steamy inside.
That’s a lot of photos to go thru at once. Do you put descriptions on the backs?

For some, the names comes as I take the picture. Others I hang onto for a while and see where they fit in a group. The only one in this collection that I took specifically for this post is the mug. I’ve had the clay one for a long time and saw it immediately as being named “justice.”

Such a creative mind you have, my dear! Mug shot, scales of justice, the type that doesn’t wear seat belts … not even on its way to the Writers Suite, I presume?

I like all your photos, Colleen. Oh, I love old typewriters. As for putting pictures in albums – (huge sigh) I have years worth of them!
I took your challenge. So, when you have some time, drop by my blog to see what I came up with. Thank you!

The Typewriter is indeed for the Hotel Floyd Writer’s Suite. In the picture it was being transported to another member of our writer’s circle whose husband was going to work on it to get the keys unstuck. I keep thinking I’m going to write the blog called “Day in the life of a Typewriter,” but so far it hasn’t happened.

Colleen, I like your shots very much, but even more I like the way you play with words in the captions. I always enjoy the fun you have with your photos. I think you like puns as much as I do:-)

I love all these but I keep wanting to call the litter bug one, shutter bug, even though it wouldn’t make sense then with your title.

Thanks, Ruth. I’m going to add shutter bug to the front page.

Great post! I was taken back the other morning when I went for one of my favorite coffee mugs…my “40 is fabulous” mug and realized it is cobalt blue!
