So, I guess this means you do not want my 14 cobalt blue goblets?

I love your eclectic dishes!

I love cobalt blue coffee mugs and much to my son’s dismay I actually collect them. You can see a couple in the shots.

Now, did your son make all of these pottery pieces? You are so being envied right now!

Yes, nearly every piece shown. The tea cups and tea pots are his. The cobalt Celtic mug and cobalt teapot (gift from my sister) aren’t his.

better your cupboard than tea cup running over. it’s such a self-sufficiency to see the earth where plates come from. it must be a very similar gratifyingness as growing ones own food.

How lucky you are to have a potter as a son!

I’d love to have a full set!!

In the beginning I wanted a full set too but he makes different pots for every firing and every year he’d bring home completely different pieces for Christmas and such, so I had to give up the idea of anything matching.

I didn’t realize he made the teapot too. It is gorgeous!!
I have some nice things too. xo

Who wants matching pots with all those beautiful shapes, colors, and sizes to keep the eye busy? Having matching pots is sort of like having fiction or poetry by only one writer in your house! How boring!!
