Mara Makes a House Call
I thought she came over to play a game of Scrabble but maybe she came to show off what her new Voyager phone could do. She downloaded Loose Leaf Notes and checked my comments, took a picture of me (see below) with the phone, texted it to Facebook and read me the comments it got as we played!
What am I supposed to do with these letters?
Isn’t this an ingenious way to get a peek at Mara’s letters?
Can you believe that after Mara beat me, we played Speed Scrabble with her daughter Kyla Rose and Kyla won?

what a fun post and great pictures. I managed to ‘write’ some this week and that always makes me happy.
My vegetable garden is almost together ( last night was about 34 degrees, Grrrrr! )

I came up with NUN, if you had a G you could do GNU. Oh dear!

I traded them in and lost a turn. Mara won by 17 points.

I want one of those fancy gadgety phones too! I’m jealous of Mara. The iPhone doesn’t work any where around here but I think the Blackberry might? I want to be able to do all that cool stuff too. Though I can’t imagine being worth a hoot with those tiny letters. I don’t even text!

Her keyboard as pretty big but I still joked that her fingers were going to grow long and thin. We wondered what kind of new evolution will manifest from all this technology and so much texting.

Since I found out I can play Scrabble on-line, I do it everyday!!

I am not interested in those phones at all. Too many things to learn and not enough time to smell the flowers.
Andrew has an iphone and so doesn’t Kelley……Nelson loves them. xo

Sounds fun! even though I’m Facebook allergic.

Technology everywhere, even in Floyd! Woody Crenshaw showed me his Blackberry yesterday.

Hmm. I posted a comment here yesterday (I was sure of it!)
Oh well – I thought perhaps, “mumu”was a word you could make out of your tiles, but realized you only had one “m”, so I ingeniously derived “mum” from that (big score, I’ll bet, too)!
I have neglected you Colleen and I apologize. I have so many on the blog list and in the dashboard that I lose track. I couldn’t stay away from yours for long.
I have been experimenting with different poetic forms and would love your opinion, since I respect your work greatly. I’ve tried out a vilanelle, a sestina a couple of triolets (one about a mouse). I love rhyme as you know.
I play Scrabble through my Bell server. It’s fun because it has these “bomb” things that you have to make words around before the detonate. I’m getting quite good.
Hope to see you soon,
Kat
