I don’t know why but when I stare at this picture I keep expecting Mr. Ed the talking horse to come out and snort hello.
This time of year, my favorite summer sundress is almost as worn as this butterfly’s wings.
There was a time when I thought hay bales were put there by farmers for Andrew Wyeth to paint.

I love hay field shots with the blue skies and puffy clouds. Don’t you feel sorry for those butterflies when you see their tattered wings? I do. They have such a short life and I feel like they don’t think they’re pretty anymore.

Yes, I know what you mean, Deana. I do feel bad for the butterflies when their fragile wings are tattered. It’s like the butterfly’s version of old age and I worry how they got that way.
And the hay bales always remind me of shredded wheat cereal.

Beautiful pictures, my dear….That Butterfly is exquisite! I love the look of it’s wings. And that field with the Bales of Hay….PERFECT! And the doors, too! A joy—all three!
