2010: Parting Shots
Santa heads home with his sleigh
A new year is a clean slate
In between years on New Year’s Eve
No one said it would be easy

I love your photo series, the poetry, the compositions, they make such interesting posts. I like the complimentary blue/orange color scheme.

Thanks Chris and all. Joe liked this picture because only his head is showing and the sign says “a-head.”

It’s not so bad, June. It only tends to last a couple of weeks each year, nothing like New England. We’ll be sunbathing on the porch by February.

I’m voting for “A new year is a clean slate” – that is a photograph that allows for all kinds of journeys. Thanks!

I’m so glad you make your entire post available in ‘readers’ for it allowed me to catch up with your incredible snow (and icy) photos and learn of your ‘adaptations’ for Christmas when the storm knocked out power all in one fell swoop. I enjoyed your family photos too. Now that I’m caught up, perhaps I’ll be able to stay current. May the new decade bring you and yours joyful opportunities and experiences!
Hugs and blessings,
