Everything I Learned about Having a Birthday I Learned from My Two-year Old Grandson
He’s methodical at unwrapping gifts and accepts that he deserves every one.
He knows how to tackle any problem and gets right down to it.
He’s okay with being the center of attention.
He knows how to share and wait his turn.
He’s in the present moment. He doesn’t care how old he is or who’s watching him have fun.
The little boy, whose birthday is three days before mine, joins me in saying thank you for all the birthday wishes, gifts, and fun. Two-year old Bryce in his own words: HERE. My birthday post is HERE.

Must be something in the air as I just read another post from a grannie telling all she learned from her little ones visit.

Among all the other perks of being a grandmother, just watching them enjoying life is contagious and if we are lucky we will learn from the experience. Happy birthday to you both!

Great story and a great birthday. We should all take a page from Bryce’s book. Not his coloring book. the figurative one. 😉

I think holding that many balloons was a secret fantasy of mine when I was little. That’s H(opa) Joe Bryce runs past, holding tightly to his bag of pinata candy.
