Hometown
The houses along Nantasket Ave glow with the fire of sunset. The city of Boston sits at the end of the road like a pot of gold in the distance. Today I got a bed railing for my mother from the Lyons Club and two little girls from the neighborhood entertained us by step dancing on my mother’s front porch.

great photo! look at the city in the distance, just far enough away but near enough if you need to get there

This is the street I grew up on (behind the first house which was the Coast Guard Station but is now a Lifesaving Museum) but not the house my mother is in now. It’s a narrow little 5 mile long pennisula where you could almost throw a stone and it would land in Boston.

Beautiful picture. Tommy lives in Roslindale just outside of Boston, I love seeing pictures of the area he lives in. Thanks Colleen!
