Life is a Beach
Post notes: These photos were all taken this evening and together seem to represent the convergence of my inner life and my life reality right now as I am helping to care for my mother.
I was tempted to title the post: “Making Stuart Homesick.” Stuart is a Loose Leaf reader from Florida who grew up a couple houses down from my mother’s house, where I am staying now.
More Wordless Wednesday shots are HERE.

Those lovely beach shots are making me homesick for the Florida beach that I grew up on…of course the oil that is seeping into it makes me sick too, but that is a different story for another day.

But carry on. . .bless you on the purpose of this visit and the time with your family. . .very important. . .my time will come!!!

It was a motorised parassail but there wasn’t enough wind and my camera battery died at the same time so everyone went home without seeing it (him) go up.

Absolutely stunning! Hope you don’t encounter any oil on those pristine beaches. And if you see a BP exec, please spit on him for me…

Wonderful pictures, Colleen. And that last one is so very evocative….I love them all, but that one, says everything about what you are doing right now.
