That’s cute! It reminds me of the time when I was younger and did something like this.

That’s a great question, Susan. I feel like I was inspired by him to do collage(and that I don’t come close to his talent at it) but he says he was inspired by me. When he was a kid I kept baby books, scrapbooks, a journal, and photo albums and usually cut photos into shapes and did do some rudimentary collage. Here’s a post about who inspired who: http://looseleafnotes.com/wp/2006/05/fitting-the-pieces-into-place/ I do know that I inspired him on journal keeping but he is more the artist at it.

These are so cool! They look similar in style to the journals of Dan Eldon. He was a young reporter for AP and spent a lot of his time in Africa, where he was murdered in a mob riot. Here’s a link to the site his mother and sister created in his honor:

Fantastic..and so inspiring. Do you know of Dan Eldon?? They somehow remind me of his journals.

Yes, Josh was inspired by the journals of Dan Eldon. I write about that here: http://looseleafnotes.com/wp/2006/05/fitting-the-pieces-into-place/

Very cool! I’ve recently been doing dream collages. A friend goes to a jungian analyst and they use them a lot…so I tried it. Now I’m analyzing myself! 😉
