Out to Lunch
That’s me doing “research” for a story about the new Dogtown Roadhouse in town. They have 8 beers on tap and 28 kinds of bottled microbrews.
The beer tasting put my fellow Scrabble players at an advantage.
“Just one more piece?” young Porter Sweeney seemed to ask his dad. At Dogtown they cook pizza in a woodfire oven. That’s the moveable wall that opens onto the Sun Music Hall where they will put on big name acts and dances. Story coming soon. Meanwhile, HERE’s the one I wrote about them last year when the Roadhouse was still on the road.
P0st note: Picture #2 was taken before Mara turned her “Rack Your Brain” T-shirt (with brains in a pool rack) inside-out because it was grossing Rosemary out.

A new scrabble spot? I’d love to play with you guys. I’m not very good, you might enjoy it. 🙂

We could all drink a determined amount of beer to keep us equal in a Kurt Vonnegut science fiction sort of way. The Dogtown porch picnic table is a great place to play if we play early enough that we aren’t drowned out by sun. I’ll let you know if we have another game coming up!

But the shamrock in Ireland brings me luck!

I can’t decide what I love more about this post, the beer tasting, the Scrabble, or the pizza.
Okay, I’ll admit it….it’s the Scrabble!

I like your kind of research. I also like the moonshine drinking glasses the kids have.

I used to play Scrabble a lot and even competed and won on some Scrabble tournaments when I was still in high school.
