Very odd but I have a photo of a vulture sitting in a window of an abandoned house which I posted on FB for my Halloween album. (We should have gotten together.)

Practicing their “touch and go” flying techniques? Very nice captures and love the rustic feel.

Vultures are fine, from a distance. Just hope they never pick your place as a roosting spot! If they do, I have experience in how to encourage them to leave!

while swayed, decaying, paint-chipped bldgs might seem to portray a long ago life now gone, they scream life to me in imagining who might have lived there, what their dreams were and were they realized. When I see a shrub or flower blooming at the corner of a house, am reminded that someone had an eye and desire for beauty and must have had a heart full of hope and promise. is it that way today??–i don’t know. beautiful photos, thanks for sharing.
