I See Spots
Did I drink too much beer? There was a winter draft with cinnamon, beer with blueberries and dark beer mix with a top as creamy as Guinness. The band setting up was called the Syd Slack Elastic Waist Band. Someone actually flirted with me and there were green spots floating all over the bar. See the video HERE.
You have a B on your shirt,” I said to my brother-in-law Nelson. “I hope you’re not allergic,” I added as he swatted at it.
We sat at the bar but the couches were calling me, so I put them to use. “This is what I do at the end of the day when I’m off duty,” I explained to my sister Sherry as I sprawled out by the fireplace and sipped my beer like my baby grandson sips the sippy cup he calls his “baw baw.” It was good to get a change of scenery and have a few laughs after a full week of caring for my mother.

It’s my brother-in’law. I’m sure he’ll enjoying hearing that. My sister is the blonde next to him.

Watching your video I was tossed into a deja vue moment…”The Green Slime Are Coming” from 1968.
“A giant asteroid is heading toward Earth so some astronauts disembark from a nearby space station to blow it up. The mission is successful, and they return to the station unknowingly bringing back a gooey green substance that mutates into one-eyed tentacled monsters that feed off electricity. Soon the station is crawling with them, and people are being zapped left and right!”
My dad was a manager for the Loews State Theater in Houston when they played it…Lord, what a bad movie. The fun part was, they sent in a load of advertising junk and we ran around downtown one weekend putting neon green stickers with the show name on everything… vandalism run rampant.
I hope your mom is doing better.

That fire looks good… still trying to get them to come clean ours for the season ahead. We finally had a frost last night… and it is colder today but again up to 70 tomorrow. I hope your mom is doing a bit better.. I am sure that having you there gives her much comfort.
