Neat! I love discovering old buildings and exploring (when safe!), especially with my camera.

We have a lot of old abandoned houses here in the country. The fridge was behind the yellow door.

Colleen, your photos have always told a story, and this is another beauty. what is it about abandoned houses that’s so attractive? It might be the mystery, all the unanswered questions about who lived there and why did they go? Or where did they go? But the clues to their lives were left behind. I love the bottles on the fridge. And the purple beret, scarf, and gloves. These are raw and gritty photos and I love them.

Lovely theme – like the contrast of the blue hat with that washed out Old Yella. The film made me cry too 😉

Was the fridge inside the old door?
Not only the blue hat in contrast to the two shades of old yellow.. but the ragged edges of red that suggest a bright red door… sometime past.

Yes, the fridge was behind the yellow door. I hadn’t even registered the telltale red on the top of the door!
