It’s a shadow of what it really looked like. The size and color (orange) got a little lost in translation. I did feel “richer” for looking at it.

I read that this full moon is closer to the earth than most… it was lovely, wasn’t it.

A few nights ago, I was in the valley on the west side of Lookout Mountain when the moon rose HUGE over a low part of the mountain. Beautiful! And so is your photo, Colleen. A picture may be worth a thousand words, but your 14-word poem says it perfectly.
