2. I left Roanoke after babysitting baby Liam and Bryce on Wednesday with dried baby biscuit goop up and down my pants and purple watercolor paint on my raincoat.

3. Hosting Sixteen Hands Studio Tour at my house for my Asheville Potter Son Josh with more than 100 people coming and going throughout the weekend is like letting him have the party I never let him have as a teenager.

4. First there was the “How a Poem is Like Cake” poem and then there was the birthday party for Mara featuring poetry cake.

5. Mara is 18 years with 22 years of experience. At her birthday party we read poetry and played Apples to Apples. We were planning to float poems down the river in boats but it rained.

6. The lullaby song that I sang to Bryce when he was a baby was Row Row Row Your Boat. For Liam it’s Get Your Motor Running!

7. When I sang to Bryce I changed the words to his song, ending with “Merrily Merrily Merrily Merrily, Bryce is but a dream.”

8. Recently heard: The U.S. has spent millions on the development of NASA space pen that can write upside down. The Russians just use a pencil.

9. Seems that Thich Nhat Hanh and Pema Chodron have Facebook pages and “like” my husband’s Inward Bound Mindfulness page.

10.  Weirdest hat at the royal wedding HERE.

11. Can you believe that an anchor at Fox news reported that President Obama was dead instead of Osama Bin Laden. Watch HERE.

12. “Fear is a natural reaction to moving closer to the truth”  ~ Pema Chodron

13. Watch Bryce host a tea party HERE.
