The yellow birds are so very yellow and the bluebird is so very blue and the ball is so very pink. Great colors!
Is that your dog?

Beautiful birds. I heard a song bird singing joyously the other day and also noticed some little birds hopping about on the porch rail and wondered what kind they were, because I didn’t remember hearing or seeing either of them in our neighborhood before.

I’ve been jumping all over the place following your blog – it’s very exciting. My husband was part of the pottery movement in South Australia in the late 70’s when we met. I always thought we’d live forever in a log cabin (my dream) and he’d throw pots. He moved into a different area of acting and teaching -I sometimes wonder how we lost our way!
I plead with him to return to this part of his soul, but it’s too close to him if you know what I mean. Perhaps one day. (I hold out hope!)
He enjoyed your recent photos!
I know your son will be enjoying Tasmania. We spent part of our long-service time there…and your bird photos are lovely.
I will certainly look forward to returning to Loose Leaf Notes.

Our bluebird (male) has got to be the most stupid bird here. I cleaned out his house twice and he acted like he would build his nest… or at least get it started. But he procrastinated and overnight, the chickadees worked really hard and built instead. Now he is upset… but I tell him it is his own fault. He still knocks on the window every morning.
