how peaceful and cool those pictures look – we’re having a heat wave here and would love to be around the water right now. Happy WW

These photos remind me of the duck pond where I used to live. My grandchildren liked to feed the ducks there, but the geese were too big, too noisy, and too scary. Back then, I included the duck pond in my walking itinerary, but now I have to drive across town to see it.

This duckpond is in Blacksburg and borders VA Tech. Joe and I spent a lot of time here in the long ago past. When I worked at my friend’s bead shop in Bburg, we would often hang out here after work. It’s one of our romantic spots.

This looks like such a wonderful place to be in. I could be happy here, a lot. I love Canadian Geese, they are such fun to feed. Thank you for sharing this 🙂

I hadn’t thought of the game “duck duck goose” in a long time!

Great pictures! Thanks for visiting my blog, I had to look up vegetable fish tale, haha. I’m not the gardener, my husband is. My picture was of a turnip. My BFF went to VA Tech, I visited a few times and am originally from VA!
