Sunday’s Shadow Shot
I went to a tea party, a fashion show luncheon, heard Belfast-born Tom Martin perform at open mic set at the Floyd Country Store Open Mic, covered Occupy Wall Street Floyd for the local paper, went to old-time mountain singer Janet Turner’s CD release concert, and checked out the Art on the Parkway scene. Thank goodness for Monday because I need a weekday off from the weekend.

i Know the feeling.
And when I saw this, I thought Colleen might enjoy poking around the notebook of this appalachian hiker: http://www.sierrapotomac.org/W_Needham/h_notebook.html

I know exactly what you mean about needing a weekday off from the weekend!
SHADOW SHOW
Shadows creeping through the land,
Shadows dark on every hand—
If they should begin to glow,
You had better run, you know!
