It was a flock of turkeys that crossed the road that caused about six cars on either side to line up and wait.

Yes, I was planning on being one of the those, but perhaps without the car and just doing some mountain hiking this weekend. Alas my dance with the television halted that!

i remember looking out to only a red, yellow, and green carpet as far as the eye could see. is it still a bit early? i love the first and third shots especially, and the critters are wonderful!
we are not seeing much color change here yet at all. i miss those eastern autumns so much!
