this makes me so excited at the prospect of seeing our own tree filled with the special ornaments that make us so happy! ohhh, i can’t wait to finally finish our tree. it is taking us forever!

My mother passed away in February. The very last gift she gave me was a box of ornaments like the one in your second picture. They will be on my tree this year.

That one you mention is one of the only ornaments I have that comes from my childhood, the 1950’s!
