Know Thyself
Nope. I don’t do yoga or tai chi on the beach (although I do like to photograph it). I’m more the beachcombing, bird watching type. I like to walk and people watch: the lovers holding hands, the surfers in wet suits stretching, the guy playing guitar, the other guy who just jumped on the seawall and is dancing with flags to a rock song on his boom box. A single sandal lost from the story of its owner causes me to pause. An empty bottle of wine leaning on the seawall casts a shadow. A blue rope tied around a barnacle covered piling under the pier draws my attention. The waves are bigger and I get a kick at seeing the sun set over the Pacific. I make a necklace of seaweed and an altar of shells. Every seaside flower is a blessing waiting to be smelled.
More Photos to come…

I’m like you on the Beach…..The things that interest me are all connected to what is happening because of the Sea…Except, of course, the ‘people watching’ part….lol…..
It is a dreary day up here, today….some rain has fallen and they say more is on the way, though not a Big Storm or anything like that….Hope it is nicer where you are, my dear…..!

No sun today but no rain either. More sun on the way, at least for San Diego. We have moved to a more to a more retro-motel on the beach, after two days in a luxury one. That’s Joe doing tai chi with some conference participants.
