Jazz@Jax

The Community Room at the Jacksonville Center for the Arts was transformed into a jazz club Saturday night for the center’s annual Jazz@Jax concert fundraiser.  The jazz ensemble featured (from left to right) Myrick Crampton, Brian Peters (drummer), Tom Artwick, Chris Prokosch and Justin Craig.  You can read the musicians bios and more about the event  HERE.

    Looks like a wonderful evening! And sounds pretty good, too…Though the Saxaphone is slightly off-key…!

    Well there are two. Maybe it was my camera. One of the sax players (in the middle) has played with with Dizzy Gillespie, Mel Torme, Ray Charles and other well known musicians.
