The Hunt is On!
The following appeared in The Floyd Press on April 12, 2012
A first annual Children’s Easter Egg Hunt was hosted by Oddfella’s Cantina and Bell Gallery at the Bell Gallery Garden behind the shop on Sunday.
Among the flowering pots, yard ornaments and the Gallery’s wrought iron gazebo, children were delighted to fill their baskets with eggs that contained chocolates and toys.
The new spring grass was left un-mowed for the purpose of hiding eggs, said host and Oddfella’s Cantina co-owner Julie Arrington.
Along with finding egg treasures, children enjoyed petting a baby rabbit that was rescued by Humane Society member and Bell Gallery manager Darcie Luster.
Dogtown Roadhouse co-owner Scott Smith and his daughter Amelia wore bunny ears for the occasion. Amelia, pictured to the left of her brother Avery, is holding the rescued rabbit.
Loic Prudner and his dad Gustin enjoyed attending the egg hunt together.
Post notes: You can read a story I wrote about the Bell Gallery for the paper HERE. Another about the Roadhouse is HERE. Oddfella’s Cantina was featured in THIS story.
