I saw one of these translucent, Ansel Adams moons the other day, just risen, like yours, in broad (late) daylight & it was HUGE, spanning half the horizon. I was dying for a camera.

This image without the words is fantastical. And if you squint at it while looking it, the whole thing gets beautifully simplified even further. Guess that is why the bell tolls for da poet’z. …..oh moo’n doggy.
