Are there many bottle hunters in Floyd? With so many old homesteads, I’d think there would be a number of areas to investigate with a rod … I love old bottles! Are yours from Floyd County?

No, not from Floyd. I dug them up from old home dump when I lived in Hull, Mass. I love old bottles too. I uncovered a ceramic vase and a baked bean pot intact around the same time (1969 or so). The white bottle is a Listerine bottle from Lambert Pharmacy. The cobalt one is for bromo-seltzer from Baltimore Maryland. I dug up an intact 4 oz glass baby bottle too. The rubber nipple was still on it but it has since disintegrated some and bugs have fallen down into the bottle and I can’t get them out with ruining the rest of the nipple top.

The flowers inside make us yearn for the days when they grow outside in the Spring…we are awaiting!
The poultry look as if they may be sizing each other up. Hopefully they only glare at each other…
We toast to the longer and warmer days!

Love all you shots, but the two chickens discussing the days activities is the best. I am from the farm days and we had several.
