Voyeur’s Moon
Unzipped moon
slips out of its skin
strips down to a sliver
from its full-bodied figure
and bares its last vestige
of light

So when is the book of moon poems going to be released?

I’ll never look at the moon in quite the same way again.

This is cool — and sensual. Like this piece a lot. 🙂

that just bounced a puzzle piece into place.
under a full-figured moon
coming home at night, I’ve been taking inventory of the
mound growing outside a neighbour’s duplex. it must be
sixteen months, a year before it seemed odd. wood shelving,
office roller cart, office chair, filing cabinet, steamer trunk
desk parts, torch lamp, kitchen cabinets, box of albums,
hangers, bookends, velvet arm chair. what’s going on
in there? the inherited house of a packrat not renting
a dumpster but slowly tearing it all back to the drywall?
or, a TARDIS inside and Dr. Who’s evil twin addicted to
rummage sales, his nemesis-lover locked in an epic battle
against the used commerce market? which is winning?
the white-backed curtains could be any color, cover all.

The best poems are of the moon.

A sensuous moon indeed, very cleverly penned.
