Don’t be bashful – tell us more about the flat piece behind Josh! Reduction fired? Slab-rolled? And the flat dish? How does the orange happen?

I’ll ask him when he gets back from the 16 Hands run around and downtown fun tonight.

He says they are wood fired and unglazed. The orange comes from flashing slip, atmosphere and kiln stacking pattern.

Setting up the exhibit is cool – we will be wowed by the art as not only is the imagination of the artist – but the lighting and positioning of the pieces for the most beautiful effects. Let’s hope the art world sees the fine art created by Josh!
