I am not as romantic as I would like and when I see such clouds I wonder how many are the result of contrails and large amounts of carbon in the air.

Oh….these are ALL so Beautiful…I love them all, but there is something about the Stairway and that one lone animal that touches my heart.

An add-on to Lady of The Hills comment…..that one latched on to me as well. Perhaps it speaks to, one is never alone, that one is safe under a big sky’s embrace. The image makes the earth smaller, but the notion of in the moment expands. It is an incredible shot, one a hundred thousand people would never have noticed and would have missed the stairs to other layers.

Marvelous skywatch photos!
Sometimes I think the clouds are different than they used to be. Perhaps it’s the jet trails making more long narrow ones.
