Stink bugs galore at our house. Yesterday I took a quilt off the wall behind my bed and there were gobs of them on the back. I almost got ill. They are the gift that keeps on giving. Nice shadow.

Your shoe looks as if you could eliminate the bug very easily…being very kind allows Mr. Stinky to live another day. Of course, the first frost and colder days yet to arrive will not be that nice. Nice autumnal shadow!

hmm I haven’t seen stink bugs in ages, I’d guess not since the move back into the city. Hurray for small favors.
lovely rug and shadow, I’d like to have the same rug in my living room!

But wait! I love stink bugs, at least our northern version, who seem so cautious about every move they make, thinking over every step so carefully, fascinating to watch.

We have an infestation of them in our area. A few years ago it was ladybugs. Those are nice bugs too but not when you have to vacuum your window because it is covered in them. And, of course, stink bugs do stink.

Shadows are where you find them–even on and with and around stink bugs!

I assume you let it live to see another day? I’m not always so kind.

Do they really stink? I don’t think they are around here but what is, is those darn fruit flies. They dive bomb around like they own the place. I’m temped to stop buying fruit because of them.

Great bug photobomb, Colleen. We’ve struggled with these “nasties” for several years. You can drown them easily in a glass of soapy water. But, our kittens found them to be great sources of hunting like grasshoppers, until they tried to eat them! The facial expression was priceless. Their stinky spray is worse that skunks.
