Hello there .. it is so sweet when kids become fascinated with their own long shadows .. and even more shadows that draw their attention.
This little guy looks like he is more than ready for the cold weather too !

He is dressed for the cold I see…and the late autumn shadows are long as the warming sun heads south. Yet the boy is excited to be out and given a long leash to walk ahead somewhat and explore the neighborhood. We jaded adults would never get excited at the sight of a mailbox – we have forgotten the age of discovery as he has not. A cute explorer!

I still remember being fascinated by my shadow and not quite understanding it! (It was yesterday ;>))…. seriously , I really do think it is one of my earliest childhood memories .
