Thanksgiving Leftovers and Outtakes
We headed over the river (creek) and through the woods to Zephyr Farm for Thanksgiving dinner.
I had some bad thoughts while carrying this pumpkin pie about whose face I could throw it in. “Wait for the whipped cream,” Joe said. “I don’t really like pumpkin pie. If it was apple I wouldn’t even be thinking this,” I answered.
We all picked up our Davin Butterfield plates and spun them to better appreciate their spiral designs. We were impressed with Katherine’s new window extension allowing for the biggest table setting ever.
I took this picture for my 5 year old grandson Bryce because he’s really into gold forged weapons right now. Too bad they were only spoons and not forks or knives.
There was nothing trifle about the trifle. It was the triflest.
Good to the last drop.
Next up 16 Hands Studio Tour at my house with my son Josh Copus and guest artist Joey Sheehan and at studios throughout the county. Come on out Friday – Sunday.

I made my usual Apple pies, but this is the first year Joey didn’t get one! I don’t like pumpkin either!
I loved all these pics and actually wish I was eating the dinner right now. It was delicious!

I was asked to bring a pumpkin pie cause that’s what was needed for the shared feast. Joe made a gluten dairy free one. I also brought roasted brussell sprouts which I did like. I took some of Jayn’s mock mince pie home and am still eating that.
