There’s No Business Like Snow Business
Neighbors on snow plows are the heroes of the day.
Nearly two feet in two days was no picnic (and notice that the picnic bench seating has completely disappeared).
Even the chickens appreciate the snow shoveling efforts of others. Watch them try their newly shoveled run HERE.
Some of the girls were afraid of their own shadow after being literally “cooped up” for two days.
But there was time for play. “You almost can’t not make a snowman with this kind of snow,” I told Joe.
We named her Be Mine Valentine.

if all the rain we’ve had recently had been snow we’d be even deeper than this.

I haven’t seen that much snow since I left New England years ago, and I confess that I hope never to see that much snow again!

That’s the run between their big strawbale sleeping coop and and their smaller daytime coop where they like to hang out. They were so happy to get out and move around.

All work and no play make Jack a dull boy! Love your Valentine Snowperson! And, I really love those chickens too!

The chickens are sauntering along the cleared path rather well – after being Cooped Up as we also say…
The snowman is great, the dense wet snow just perfect for our creation of new life forms. It is nice when neighbors, being neighborly, are the truest of heroes!

Always nice to have helpful neighbors. The sun on the snow gives us great shadows to photograph, doesn’t it?
Thanks for stopping by to see my Shadow Shot Sunday post.
