March’s Lion
What we want to say to winter.
When humans see their shadows.
The roar of blue sky gets louder.
Robins patiently wait.
Liam breaking bad.

Liam, so little yet so strong, and working so hard! He is such a delightful little guy. Shadows are so fun, right? My shadow, the only time I can be tall.

Winter offers us such inconveniences, yet Liam is not fazed – the ice needs to be cleared, and he will do it. Quite industrious!
Snow can be beautiful, despite its hanging around all winter (and the season is wayyyy too long). Yet, the birds do show us that the change to Spring will occur despite the white blanket covering the ground…

Ah–we don’t have winter like you do–when we re lucky, we have a wet winter with plenty of rain–but this year California is in drought—I envy your snow!

Huge treads in the snow in the first photo. and love the little video of Liam. He looks adorable when he holds that chunk of ice.

I believe in your shadow, the pictures and words as perfect as maple sap, which just started to run here a couple of days ago. Spring is crawling, on it’s belly, but crawling nonetheless back into our life. About bloody time.
