Life Passages
The above photos were taken at the new Village Center at Warm Hearth Village (a local retirement community) where I was visiting my dear friend Alwyn. I have visited Alwyn — a writer, artist, environmentalist and former Rudolf Steiner kindergarten teacher — the last two April’s on Earth Day. The day these were taken it was April Fools Day. “So we have to be foolish, okay?” I said to her. We ate cake, saw an art show and I put her hair in a ponytail.
See “Alwyn’s Earth Day Flag” HERE, a story with photos on the Blue Mountain School — where Alwyn was an early kindergarten teacher — and the school’s 30th year celebration is HERE. _____Shadow Shot Sunday

How many of us are willing to be foolish? Most of us dread it. Good for Alwyn!
