This is How Good the Prom at the EcoVillage Looked
This was the first time that the Floyd County High School senior prom was held at the Floyd EcoVillage, an elegant venue that includes the Celebration Hall, the Conversation Café and a spacious lobby that looks out onto a pond.
It was a masquerade theme with all the fixings.
There was even a red carpet, a photo-op booth and lights around the pond gazebo.
Joe and I were there by chance and only briefly, picking up his truck parked at the new independent high school (also on the grounds) where he is director.
I really enjoyed seeing the glamorous and colorful formal fashions – everyone looked great!

Well, that does bring back the memories. This looks so innocent and charming and these ‘children’ are just on the brink of the rest of their lives.

It was inspiring and nostalgic. I love to people and style watch.

You’re welcome! It’s just a little peek and a perfect prom location. I’m looking forward to seeing the rest in the paper this week, not sure who was covering it.
