Pickled Bean?, if so better than dill pickles, I my opinion, plus a dill pickle does not make a good garnish or stir stick for one’s bloody caesar.

I remember helping my mother can so many decades ago. I do not do any canning as I am lazy and I also am not fond of canned foods. I do freeze and dry stuff though.

They are Italian flat beans, so much better than regular string beans in my opinion. My grandmother used to use wax to seal the jar.
I only remember the brown sugar that I used to raid in the Spring Street pantry

They look delicious. Mum used to pickle them in brine, then they had to be washed several times before they could be used.
