Moon Tide
Summer sail
Golden spun
A skipping stone
in a sea of heaven
______This is all I got to see of the Super Moon this month because it was so cloudy when the moon was full. Imaginary Garden with Real Toads

Love perceiving the sky as a sea of heaven.
Out here in the dry crackling Sierra Foothills I spent the night of the full moon searching unending blue sky-sea for some cloud whisp that might portend a spot of rain – to no avail.

I had the same bad luck for seeing this last super moon too. Nice, vivid poem.

Sweet image, lonely and strong.

You got more than I could; the sky was covered completely by clouds. Yours is a beautiful hint!

That sliver inspired some lovely words anyway.

Sometimes that single slice cut deeper than the full moon.

I can hear the light as it skips and skips and skips…

Beautiful…I wonder if the image came first or the words…

I love it, Colleen, I have a life long affection towards the moon. :). Why do I so seldom write of it?
Sorry I didn’t return comments yesterday as we were being pleased by the company of our five year old grand-daughter.
I commented to a friend how much she took after me but physically she had no freckles. She promptly found two. (Re your profile commentary.)
