It’s On!
Our Australian house guests, Bonnie and Harmony, picked out some Josh Copus mugs for family members at our house-turned-pottery-gallery, one of the sites on the 2014 fall 16 Hands Studio Tour.
One tour-goer fell in love with the pot by the front door on the porch, which she described as a pot that was “full of itself.” After that description, I had to go take a look. I saw it more as a planet.
Yesterday warmed up and melted the snow, which made for a slushy mix. We just got new carpet installed a couple of months ago, so my Asheville Potter Son Josh made a sign for the front door that said, “Please wipe the mud off your shoes.”
That’s Josh’s guest artist, Floyd Countian Wendy Wrenn, talking with a tour-goer about her work.
Hey, it looks like Bonnie and Harmony found something they liked!
Today is the last opportunity this season to take a Sunday drive in the country and visit some 16 Hands studios and galleries. Check out the tour map HERE. / Our World Tuesday

Looks like a good tour – I liked that round pot – it looked a bit like a crusty loaf of bread to me !

Can’t say I like the “planet” planter, but I do like those tall vases in the pic below it.
