Everything from Stilettos to Sneakers and Cowboy Boots
Some graduates also wore flips flops at Sunday’s 2015 Floyd County High School Graduation. Many painted sparkling art scenes on the back of their graduation caps. At the parking lot reception some cans of colored string were sprayed and gunpowder poppers went off in celebration.
Graduations remind me of weddings. Everyone is dressed in their Sunday best, families and friends loving come together, well wishes and life vows are made in speeches and there are lots of hugs and goose bumps to go around.
Thanks to Mr. Philips for letting me stand on his truck to take some last minute shots. Look for a full spread of photo coverage in this week’s Floyd Press.

I always liked graduations! I seem to have a lump in throat that I can not clear!

I think of my high school graduation and how emotional I was and how very naive and how I wish I could revisit it all.

I still remember the details and even the shoes I wore. I remembered feeling scattered in the parking lot milieu. Not sure were to focus, kind of like I am now!
