Red Ride in the Hood
It’s a fairy tale of carousels
spells and confetti
Impressionistic valleys and Van Gogh gold
It’s a Seurat painted scene of once upon a time
with a hip hop drop from a mountain climb
Where the red trees flame
to light the traveler’s view
All the better to see you with
my dears

Ha! That picture made it on the front page of our local paper with a caption about even the cars bearing fall colors.
All of these photos were taken on the Blue Ridge Parkway, my neighborhood.

Fantastic Autumn scenes Colleen! You’ve captured the very essence of the golden colors. Red Riding Hood might have helped to complete the string of pictures combo!

That is magical! Looks like that here now (western MA) and I’ve adopted a pair of rosy sunglasses that make the whole thing a bit more brightly surreal. Take that, nature!

Cuz, that’s how y’all roll in the Blue Ridge Shire this time of the year.
Yes I can see the tilt. And I brought your boots back, you might need them around the cows.
