Twas the Night Before Christmas
The stockings were hung
The toys were tested
And the neighbors came dressed in their candy cane best
Some grown-ups played bubbles
Others feasted on sweets
Still others, stayed up late sending Santa Claus tweets

Christmas Eve is the holiday for our extended family in Connecticut. Our son had the exact green sweater and won the ‘Ugly Sweater’ contest with it! It is a wonderful day of fun, food and family. The biggest highlight in our family is a celebration like this. Merry Christmas!

I miss the singing. Since I do not go to church I miss the carols and no one in our family sings! I do play my CDs and that helps. Looks like you had a sweet old fashioned Christmas.
